Payment Policy:
Ablaze Firewood offers secure and reliable payment options to facilitate a smooth transaction process. Please review the details of our payment policy below.
Accepted Payment Methods:
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer):
- Payments are accepted directly from your bank to ours. Orders will only be processed once the full payment has cleared in our account.
- Proof of Payment: A proof of payment does not constitute an order confirmation. Orders will only be processed once payment is confirmed and cleared by our bank
YOCO (Card Payments):
- YOCO allows you to pay via card directly. This method is available for both delivery and collection orders.
- Please follow the instructions provided on the YOCO payment platform to complete your payment securely.
COD (Cash on Delivery or collections):
- For customers who prefer to pay in cash, Cash on Delivery (COD) is available. Please note that COD is only available for specific areas and for orders where the delivery total is within a manageable range.
- Important: If COD is selected, please ensure that the exact cash amount is available upon delivery, as our drivers will not carry change.
Electronic Card Payment (Card Machine, For Collections Only):
- If you are collecting your order from our Durbanville office, electronic card payments are accepted at the time of collection.
- Card Payments: Only electronic card payments are accepted for collection orders. We do not accept card machine payments for delivery orders.
Payment Processing:
- Clearing Time: EFT payments typically take 1-2 business days to clear. Once payment has cleared, we will confirm receipt and begin processing your order. For YOCO payments, funds are transferred immediately, and your order will be processed once the payment is confirmed.
- Order Processing: Orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment is confirmed. Once payment is verified, we will notify you of the delivery schedule or collection details.
Late or Unsuccessful Payments:
- If payment fails (e.g., insufficient funds, incorrect account details, or failed card transaction), we will notify you promptly. If payment is not received within 7 days of the order being placed, your order will be automatically canceled.
Refunds for Overpayments:
- If you have overpaid for an order, the excess will be refunded within 5 business days. Alternatively, you may choose to apply the overpayment as credit toward your next purchase.
