Kiln Dried Bluegum also known as Bloekom, can burn very hot and for a long period of time. This invasive alien species, native to Australia, is considered eco-friendly firewood as clearing it helps restore surrounding vegetation and water balance. Kiln drying reduces moisture content, making Kiln Dried Bluegum easier to ignite, cleaner burning, and more efficient in heat output. It is a dense wood that burns extremely hot, and while it may not last as long as some other hardwoods, it produces strong consistent heat with minimal smoke.
